Description:
Cellular production is a proven technique for improving
process agility, reducing inventory, and improving quality.
This workshop will detail a systematic process for identifying
production cell candidates, designing the cell, and
implementing and fine-tuning cellular operations.

Target Audience and Outcomes:
This workshop is tailored to people who are tasked with
designing and operating production cells within their
organization. Participants learn by doing, and at the
end of the day are able to identify cellular production
candidates, and to design, implement, and maintain basic
production cells.
Notes:
Participants receive a three-ring binder with all presentation
slides. A videotape on cellular production is included.
The workshop includes a hands-on exercise that allows
for detailed process analysis and planning necessary
to design a real-world production cell. Although the
hands-on exercise makes workshop content more clear,
the workshop is best conducted as kickoff training to
a facilitated hands-on shop floor implementation.
