Lean Thinking principles can be applied to any business
process to achieve measurable improvements in customer
satisfaction, output, lead time, and resource effectiveness.
Of all business processes off the shop floor, product
development has arguably achieved the most significant
results and the most substantial body of work. In this
workshop, we examine how Lean Thinking can be applied
to the process of product development to achieve breakthrough
results.

Target Audience and Outcomes:
This workshop is targeted toward engineering teams and
engineering process managers. It is also appropriate
for people whose functions are closely associated with
engineering and who would be included in any cross-functional
team deploying Lean Product Development techniques.
Notes:
Participants receive a three-ring binder with all presentation
slides. While this workshop can be used in a stand-alone
mode, it is best conducted as kickoff training to a
facilitated hands-on shop floor implementation
