TRAINING & WORKSHOPS: LEAN THINKING
Lean Kaizen Event (3 to 5 days)
Description:
The best way to learn is by doing. Kaizen events are
action; they are “how lean gets done.” In
this intensive hands-on event, we identify and plan
an improvement event with your company leadership team,
and then help you identify and assemble a cross-functional
kaizen team. We then facilitate your team through training,
collection of data and analysis of the problem, planning
and execution, and sustainment planning. At the end
of the event, the team reports out on their results
and what they have learned.

Target Audience and Outcomes:
Kaizen events are suitable for five- to nine-person
cross-functional teams. Most should be associated with
the kaizen target area, and some should be from an unassociated
area of the business. Team members can have any level
of lean exposure, from novice to seasoned lean veteran.
At the conclusion of the event, your team will have
made measurable and substantial process improvement.
They will have the hands-on experience of kaizen improvement
and can help spread this knowledge through your organization
to accelerate your company’s lean transformation.
Notes:
Neovista Consulting has facilitated over one hundred
kaizen events, generating substantial savings and process
improvement for our clients. Our kaizen event facilitation
is valued because it is more than knowledge –
it is knowledge applied. It is results.
