TRAINING & WORKSHOPS: LEAN THINKING
Value Stream Mapping for the Lean
Office (1 day)
Description:
Not every process lends itself to standard methods of
Value Stream Mapping. Some
non-manufacturing business processes are ill-suited
to commonly accepted methods
that are widely used today for shop floor processes.
This workshop acquaints participants to an alternative
method of mapping that is well-suited to sales, administration,
engineering, and support processes of the business.
”The Swim Lane Technique” is entirely consistent
with Lean Thinking, and has proven to be simple and
effective with those who have used it.
