Introduction to Six Sigma (1 day)
Description:
Six Sigma is a business improvement methodology and
a set of process analysis and variation reduction tools.
In this one-day workshop, participants are introduced
to the fundamental concepts of Six Sigma. Although Six
Sigma tools are statistics-heavy, this overview provides
an introductory view, and the math is minimal.

Target Audience and Outcomes:
This workshop is appropriate for all functions and levels
of the organization. No prior experience with Six Sigma
or statistics is required. The content is tailored toward
individuals and groups who are just getting started
with business transformation using Six Sigma, or are
considering how Six Sigma might apply to their business.
At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will
have a basic understanding of Six Sigma tools and concepts,
and will be prepared to start their deeper exploration
into process improvement using Six Sigma.
Notes:
Participants receive a three-ring binder with all presentation
slides. Two hands-on exercises and a videotape are included
as part of this workshop.
