OUR PEOPLE
Jeff Fuchs is President
of Neovista Consulting, LLC and has more than thirteen
years’ experience in operations and process improvement
and twenty years of hands-on leadership in a variety
of roles.
Jeff has supported the deployment
of Lean-Six Sigma programs in large organizations and
global enterprises including Lockheed Martin LM21, Raytheon
Six Sigma, and BP’s Best Practices program. He
is one of a select group of consultants supporting the
State of Maryland’s World Class Manufacturing
Consortium and was a contributing author and editor
of The Maryland Guide to World Class Manufacturing,
a comprehensive business assessment and benchmarking
guide.
Over the past ten years, Jeff has
developed and delivered numerous workshops and training
programs. He is a principal architect of comprehensive,
year-long Lean Facilitator Certification programs, which
have graduated dozens of certified practitioners delivering
millions of dollars of savings to their parent organizations.
Mr. Fuchs has been a leader in the development of a
national Lean Certification sponsored by the Society
of Manufacturing Engineers, the Association for Manufacturing
Excellence, and the Shingo Prize for Manufacturing Excellence,
and served on the core team developing Lean Mentoring
standards.
In addition to his focus areas of
Lean Thinking and Six Sigma methods, Mr. Fuchs has a
strong background in Lean Product Development, Leadership
Development and Coaching, and Team-Based Management.
Prior to founding Neovista Consulting,
Jeff served as Plant Manager and Engineering Director
in the aerospace industry. He also founded a high-technology
start-up company and managed quality, production, and
engineering in manufacturing and automotive firms. Jeff
graduated with honors with a degree in Aerospace Engineering
from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
